Well Randy, you will know shortly, he’s never been one to ever act civil in an oil thread. He’s also never shown us his STLE credentials to back up his “information”.
I'm not a member of STLE. Although I took several of their training seminars years ago.
I am a member of AFPM and attended an annual meeting in Houston last year.
Most of the information I've provided is easily verified if you have the desire to look. Anything you have a question on specifically.

Well, it would seem that before long I will have to find an alternative to my red 50:1 Dolmar/Makita mix oil.
Supply appears to be dvindling and remaining stock is skyrocketing price wise.

Is this the stuff? 2.5L for £50 is a bit steep.

I've tried a lot of oils.....and have settled on Amsoil Dominator. Belray H1R and Motul both seemed to hurt performance because of the heavy viscosity.
Yea , I actually switched to Dom, awhile ago, I think Motul is popular in Europe and UK and more readily available maybe 🤔 .

In regards to H1R I mentioned that years ago when Redbull was on AS.

I've been using Red Armor and really like it.
Maxima K2, Honda Hp2, and Yamaha 2R are all great.
In reality any real deal FD rated oil is just fine.

As you know, I modify saws, and the saws that show up here that have been ran on Red Armor are the worst ones to do muffler work on. Without exception, the mufflers are full of sticky goop that has to be boiled or burned out before we can be sure we have left no metal inside the muffler. On Stihl's two piece mufflers this isn't an issue, but on Husqvarna's closed mufflers it is a pain in the ass. I've learned to hate Red Armor just because of this.

Is it related to improper tune? Maybe so, but we see the same results on auto tune saws.

Probably either one Stihl mineral has always been good and if that super is the same as what the white bottle in states was it’s good also. Most Stihl oil outside of the USA is castrol. Does it say who makes it on back?
