Vibration doesn’t need to filter anything out, which is the entire point of my post. Accelerometers are super cheap, cheaper than an OEM top end kit. It needs a critical band alarm and nothing else. The programming for vibration monitoring is 100 times simpler than the open loop solenoid tuning of a carburetor.
I have seen sensors fitted to rolling mill bearings but usually there is one for each bearing .
No idea how they worked because that was not part of my job .
Measuring vibrations would there not be interfearance from the chain running on the bar, the other crankshaft bearing ?

Nope, a stage 1 bearing fault is super high frequency…2A69D41A-48C7-4201-A3A3-D10159418F12.pngF7EFED33-3B2E-4949-AE67-5D29A0237EEF.png7E1015D4-ACCD-42D7-AE22-FE077A19988F.pngA1672C7D-E88B-4ED9-8B0A-DE0CD2F6E28A.png

Hey, is this stuff any good? Is it okay to run in chainsaws that aren't Stihl? It say to use at 50:1. Should I run it at 50:1??

Thanks.

According to FB crowd it is excellent oil....I think it works good as firestarter.

i pulled the plug out of a buddies 572 yesterday to try in another saw to see why it had no spark. he runs that crap. top of piston is blacker than a sack of *a-holes, covered in a thick layer of crusty carbon.

I hear it’s good at 50:1 but even better at 100:1.
So do you repair equipment or sell new equipment? That's the only folks that I know that would make a statement like that.

Sarcasm…

Stihl ultra sucks at starting a fire. Why anyone would use it in a saw is beyond me. Stihl promotes it, even doubling your warranty if you buy a 6 pack at time of equipment purchase.
