87 octane will make the most power but I usually run a higher octane only because in my mind it's better more consistent fuel.

I don't think the vp racing fuels station where I buy gas is e free.

No worries where I get mine I believe. They only sell 87efree and pump gallons constantly through it so it stays pretty fresh

I've never seen a sign there that says e free. There's no sign saying 10% ethanol either though

The gas stations around the lake say e free.
I would have to ask Jason. Wish we had a VP station here. Exxon, Citgo, Chevron, Texaco, etc. I think our local fuel supply, Lotts Oil, owns all the stations and supplies the fuel

I liked BP fuel we had here when I ran dirtbikes but we switched to buying VP by the 55 gal drums between 3 of us to split cost

There is a station 4 miles from my house that carried 91 E free, but stopped as of Jan. 1 they said they would have to spend thousands of dollars on a special use permit. :(

Now the closest E free is 30 min away. But they carry it in 89 and 93. So I'll be runnin 89, mostly for the fact that they sell way more 89 so it should be fresher

In Wisconsin somewhere?

why you two dorks continue to live in that commie state IL when your 20 miles from freedom. ie. the Wisconsin border. WISCONSIN = BEER, GUNS, and SAWS baby!!!

IL = No E free gas, crappy beer, the cubs, Chicago, sky high taxes! hell you guys can't even have Cans on yer gunz! IL sucks! :p

inmates think they are so tough. Let the murderers, pedo's, rapists swim for their freedom. say 5 miles.
I worked at a medium security facility for 4 years. An old guard from Angola State Penitentiary told me once, " Son, when u take thoso inmates to the field to work and they refuse, have a 10ft hole dug and throw him in it with a waterhose turn on fullblast and throw him a bucket , he will go to work!!"

In Minnesota, by state law, the only e free gas stations are allowed to sell is 91 octane, and then for use only in collector vehicles, motorcycles, small engines and the like. If they had 87 e free I would try that.

And to think my whole life I thought higher octane meant hotter burning, not cooler burning.

FWIW I found Klotz Super Techniplate for sale at a hobby store. Used in small 2 stroke engines for airplanes and such and mixes with all kinds of high powered fuel types.

Schaeffer 7000 is all but impossible to find but sounds interesting, somebody going to be testing that too?
