Looks alil gooey and hot!!! Lol!! Klotz Super?
Randy u have probably seen more pistons than most of us here. Is carbon of the hard dry nature normal on the piston top?
Bring it on botherI'm fixing to tear my 66 down and it's only had vp 93 and klotz super at 40:1
I concur. I have to say Redbulls 661 looks great with that SchaffersI can't remember the oil, but it was a bean oil of some brand. Personally, I just bought another gallon of 2R. It's good clean burning oil, that works well in all the engines I build.
Treemonkey turned me on to some Schaeffer Oil, so I plan to try it in the AT saws to see if they tolerate it as well as they do the 2R.
Yes. I think seeing a clean piston top is indicative of a oil that is not burning, and is washing the piston. Same for the exhaust port.......should be black with hard dull carbon.
Well that took a total of 5 minutes!!!! Lol!! It has less carbon than what I figured! Looks great
Im gonna try the Klotz original kl100 in my hybrid for awhile and see what she looks likeI've never liked what I see in a engine ran on Klotz STP.
Does the arrow pointing toward u mean it has fingers??!!
Good read. One ratio definitely doesn't fit all.was reading various oil articles. This one seems to be really good. Just passing it along.

I seriously doubt there will be a noticeable difference in HP comparing oils. If you wanted to compare oils on a dyno, you'd need to use the same saw to limit variables.Get your dyno tuned up and I'll send a 66 with klotz and you with 800 and we'll see what oil makes the most power.
