OMG!!! You CAN'T run boat oil in OPE!!!!!:risas3:

In all seriousness. Hard to beat a real track record no matter what any peanut gallery would say. One dem ape saw porters runs the Shaffers as well. But only 20 years or so. We still need more usage to see if its safe to use. :beer-toast1:
All boat oil all the time.
I bought 36 2 gallon mix
Tanaka when it was 3.00 for a six pack
Seems fine
Smells bad like ultra.

I wonder how many % of users take the time to tear down a perfectly good working chainsaw to see if it is dirty inside? Especially the commercial loggers?
Does their paychecks know if the chainsaw is dirty inside? Only if it fails. And what % is that? So much we don't know. But what is really cool is Egg Shooter's testing.

LUCAS 2 stroke oil has been tried by a couple of members here. Insides were very dry when the jugs were pulled. Hasn't received very good ratings by several reputable members.
@Moparmyway
Ok, I thought about trying it, so I was looking for some info. Do you know what ratios it was tried at?

I think it was run at 40:1, 36:1, 32:1 and maybe even 25:1.
Just doesn't seem to oil as good as other oils out there. Hopefully Kevin chimes in...

And that was the semi-synthetic? Maybe I should try dominator instead?

Have you used this or the semi synthetic in saws? If so what were your thoughts on it?

I have never used either one but I know some guys who have used semi synthetic pretty heavily in dirt bikes and never had problems.
