Oil is bad for engines we all know that!
Oh just in case you didn't think mixing gas could be complicated have a look at this guy taking it to a hole new level! It's all about the Meniscus!..
No words OMG I'm speechless! lol
I was using echo red armor oil. 40:1 for weedeaters and 32:1 for lawn boys and chainsaws. I liked that it was cleaning out the carbon as I ran it. But in the lawn boys I was fouling spark plugs constantly. Is there a better option for cleaning out carbon without going through a couple spark plugs a month? I switched to Lucas oil for the 32:1 stuff.

Any thoughts on this stuff at 32:1 in lawn boys?

You could probably get away with 40:1. More than enough...
If i remember right ,lawnboys use marine boat oil ?
Hm...710 is full ester though.Lucas sucks as storage oil. It leaves a dry white film. Any semi synthetic or even full mineral oil is better for storage than these ester blends. My saws are sitting for months and months now and I’ve even used Stihl orange bottle with canned gas for them. I would try motul 710 over the 800. It will be so thick and if it doesn’t fully combust it’s going to make a goo in the engine. Same with lots super techniplate or R50 more than likely.

I use 510 which is ester blend. It's good and clean up some old carbon from old saws.It is but burns much easier in low output 2 strokes. I used a bit of it in saws and it burnt easier than 800 just cutting firewood. 800 needs long milling cuts to burn.
