I can literally change my oil in my little SUV 6x for the price of one change of that stuff. I change about 2x a year so 6 changes gets me about 3 years worth of oil!!

That chit is salty!
Mobil1, 3500mi changes.
Usually mobil 1 gear lube, change every 2 yrs.
Castrol dexron 6 in trannys, drop the pan once a yr,change in Tcase every other yr.
I'm perrty anal when it comes to maintaining my chit.
Never mind the BLACK oil in the snowblower. Been using it bout everyday , not changing oil below -0 either.
Nxt project is clean the OWB sat. when it gets up to 30f out.
Put a mountain of wood thru it lately.

I just checked Summit. Looks like it came down some in price. Still about $17 to 20 a quart.

That's 120 per oil change in each Z71.
Now if I was plowing, that might be diff story.
I dont care how long an oil lasts b4 thermal breakdown.
That chit gets dirty(mostly carbon)
Starts grinding metal. That's why I change often.
