Im not a fan of Ultra because of headaches but I want to know what the hell people down south do with it to do that. Just about every one of our crews use Stihl Ultra and i have NEVER heard of a failure. If there were that may failures Stihl would have to do something about it. I hear about 1-2 weekly on here, so that would mean 100,000's worldwide.

It sucks for fuel up there. I'd be buying a 18 gallon pail of fuel. Find a race shop to get it at and it's cheaper than buying it yourself.

Yup. I found one but the octane is too high. I think its 109 octane. I am probably better off with VP SEF fuel at 94.
About equal in price per 5 gallons

If you find a race shop that orders a big truck load of cans and drums in the spring you might be able to add on. I need to call the one here since it's almost time and get a 5 gallons can on M5 methanol and maybe another 5 gallons of SEF.

I will check on that Mike. A buddy races cars in Thompson, CT and the series uses Sunoco fuel. I think I can get the 5 gallon cans for about $10 cheaper. $50.00.
Sunoco 94 EFree canned fuel.

That's the best way to do it. These guys buy 10 55 gallon drums or something like that at once and have them delivered to one spot.

Down here dirt track racing is BIG! Theres somebody with a barrel of VP or Sunoco everywhere u look. Lots of race shops here carry it too. I use 87 to 93 efree as its avaliable here too. Dont really see a need for race fuel though in a woods port
