Getting ready to pull the cylinder on my wild thing 505 83cc built with aftermarket 066 piston. So will get a look at it too with about 15 tanks give or take.

Guy with a 2083 needs a cylinder and crank for his saw. I just happen to have extras

I've kept fuel as long as 9-12 months in the VP fuel quarts jugs. I refill them with 87 and klotz original.

You know that test batch I ran for 13 months with ethanol mix and KL-200. Never ever separated even when left open in small batches.

You guys are very fortunate to have Ethanol Free pump gas available to you. I would still add a little fuel stabilizer to it if it was going to sit for a year.
Can't hurt anything.

Run to rich to tell you much about deposit control.

Seperation is more of an issue in cold weather.
Klotz R-50 won't even mix with gasoline at 0 degrees.

Dont care about R50 I wont run it.

Run to rich to tell you much about deposit control.

I run rich because I like it.
I dont need to run them on the edge cut after cut.
So dont care.

2 Cycle Phase Separation

The engine to the right has been destroyed from phase separated fuel. Ethanol is hygroscopic (absorbs water), the vial to the right is from the fuel tank of this engine. The fuel on top is gold in color because 2 cycle oil will only bond with the gasoline. The octane is also lower because the ethanol has separated from it and bonded with the water below. Approximately ¾ of the clear fluid in the bottom of the vial is ethanol. The ethanol water mix settles in the bottom of the fuel tank and is picked up by the fuel system, then delivered to the carburetor. The engine ran on this ethanol mixture, causing it to run extremely hot with no lubrication. This damage occurs in only a few minutes of operation. The engine also ran out of control, which poses serious safety concerns for the equipment operator.

Mine 4 strokes out of wood, hits wood and sings. To me that isnt pig rich LOL
