What oil is best? and what ratio?

good oil i have used it in the past very little smell or smoke hard to find in my area.
echo powerblend is good also if you can get it.

Got a reply on the Red Armor and the head Tech Dept. knows of no changes to the formula . I copied those SDS sheets pissrev posted but I'm really not sure if that info will help .
Anyone have more solid info on this ? , if so I will pass it along .

Thanks for checking. The SDS Pissrev posted is what pulls up if u goggle it.

I'm not finding that info to be 100% clear tho , it may all be in the way the SDS info is put on those 2 printouts ??

Not sure. When I pulled the MSDS last year it showed the one with more in the makeup but shows less now

Not sure if anything has indeed changed. I just found it odd i saw it here and then the dealers response about not sell RA anymore.

Either way i doubt it will lose its FD rating and if it did change they need to drop the price some.

red max or Husqvarna oil is dirt cheap compared to red armor.
i would buy either before i paid to use a expensive oil.

the cheap FD rated performs better than stihl ultra and smells better.

XP and RedMax oil is far from cheap(quality wise)

It's possible Keith. His biggest seller is Power Blend and RedMax.

i can buy supertech and it burns as clean if not cleaner than even the more expensive oil sold by different power equipment companies.

Actually may have found my oil after all this time.

Klotz Orginal has been about perfect to me for tune,smell and protection at 32:1.


I really like this stuff..for anyone that does not like R50.. this stuff has a different racey smell and is worth a shot

I see more equipment in my shop with plugged screens and stuck rings thats running Stihl Ultra than any other oil by far
