I use BLO when I first do a handle I do equal parts turpentine and boiled leenseed oil. Seems to penetrate better. I have heard guys doing bees wax all three equal parts. I have not got any bees wax to try but if I ever think about it I will get some to try.

Me too.

Yo my surprise after a little more run time I found that Motul 710 leaves goo in the exhaust port.

Seems like it dos not want to burn completely. Maybe the application I put it in is not what it is designed for.

I've read on the beeswax mix and got a couple pounds of it from a local bee keeper so I've got everything for it but I want to give the handles a few coats of the linseed oil first and then I think the bees wax mix will sort of seal it unless you sand it off .

I will, gotta get Termitebuffet to send me a bottle. I don't think there's bad oil to run. That 660 i ran the coconut oil in that came from so IL logger looked great on the inside. I need to ask him what

was run in it. Of the handful oil oils I have run, Ultra is the only one I've been disappointed with.

Umm.. That saw has had orange bottle stihl. Dolmar synthetic. Castor 927 lol, ultra, and pretty much whatever the convenience store sold. That particular saw has taken down like 4 mil ft of timber. And has been in some less than desirable situations... Good saw she is... Only wound up in the er once while packing it... Lol

Overall. Doesn't leave as much residue if the saw isn't milling.

i found a shindiawa dealer that has red armor 1$ cheaper per bottle than the echo dealer.
going to look into it when the fuel situation gets a little better in my area still don't have any gas.

Actually if u buy 2 of the 13 oz 6 packs off ebay I listed the otherday it works out to 12 .67 per qt. 2 - 6 packs of the 13oz works out to almost 5 qts For 63.38$

I had the annual fee discount at one time. Its just not my favorite oil

How much oil do you guys burn a year ? i think even with my milling and yard tools ,2 -3 cases of the 8 oz bottles may be all i use each year
