Was that 660 teally ran on coconut oil? I dont care about a few cookies but i wonder how long it take to blow up with a heavy handed op and that oil. I bet it wouldnt make it a gallon before a ring stuck or something. The oil mfgs know why those additives are in there if a simple veggie oil did it they be outta business quick. Tell me why that was done and what it prove.

The castrol Activ 2T left a nice grey/tan dry plug, dry muffler but inside the motor was well coated with oil.

After seing inside the 660 that rogue posted up with thousands of hours on it running this stuff, I was converted.

Its cheap too :-)

im been using some of this just to get rid of it it does smoke in my lawn boys but i don't mind the skeeter killing properties
it burns clean though and has a nice dark blue color. 3.99 per quart at autozone warren oil makes it.

I was speaking to a bloke who bought a saw off me.
He has run motorcycles and saws on Castrol TTS at 50:1 and swears by it

It really was. I did it just for chits and giggles and mainly to lighten the mood in here. It proved nothing.

You gonna run it till it don't run anymore? Potentially smell better during tear down, or the burnt coconut may soak into the Purdy new bench :)

It crossed my mind but it's in pretty good shape.

May have to try some out even if it is not a pure pre mix oil.

Rouge's 660 looked really good with all those hours and abuse in those torturing conditions.

I was impressed, looked very well lubed internally. Reminded me of K2

Sent from my non internal combustion device.
