Our local farm and ranch store just became a dealer of shindawa so I'll give the red armor a try. They also seem to have bar oil on the shelf that's way cheaper than the coop and it's the same brand.

I go straight Fomblin Oil. It's only about $500/liter, so sometimes I even use it as bar oil. I mean who wouldn't sling it all over the woods at ~ $34/oz????

How long has ur plug been in ur saw with the amsoil? Can you snap a pic please
Keep in mind his plug will look different as he is tuned rich for milling. Likely will have carbon on the outer edge of plug near the threads. I still believe it's very good oil.

Heated handle saws are made for colder climates ,would the main jet be leaner in the heated handle saw ?

@junkman and @Keith Gandy, have you tried Motul 800 yet? (Pretty sure Brian barfed at the red dye).
I think it sucks unless the saw is on a mill for hours at a time. Other than that it leaves a wet piston top from not burning. It will make some hard deposits after milling if it's ran hard enough to burn.

well if schaeffers can clean this thing up. I'll check again and see if there is still a difference. That said I got this saw from Dave in BC. It's 66F there right now and 78F here.

661 #3 had the slowest times of the day in all 4 logs. So I guess not.
Only makes sense in a 2 stroke that a cooler running saw isnt gonna make more power . A 2 stroke needs the proper load and temp. Range for the oil to combust. If it isnt combusting it will end up wet, washing the piston, and making less power IMO. Extra oil in the topend thats not combusting is like pouring water on the fire. Like Mdavlee said 800t wont combust, burn, or make full power unless its a load and temp that milling produces. Just my opinion
