I said "good" oil like the ones mentioned here....i don't consider Ultra good oil[emoji6]. I wonder how much of that carbon was from only running half throttle. I know my Husky 326LS spooges like a MFer no matter what oil or ratio i use if i don't have it wide open.
Truth! My 323L does the same. Oil dripping everywhere. And you can't run WFO all the time.

Ive seen exhaust ports so carboned that when u crank it they will sound muffled and only take partial throttle or go dead when u pin the throttle

Try a 3/8 drill bit through that big CAT they put in thoso mufflers may help
Already gutted the cat. There's something about these trimmers that makes them puke oil. Tune and oil doesn't seem to matter. Unless you have one you can't understand.

Carb related would be my only guess. They r takin into consideration that the CAT will take care of the rich jetting?

Running Super M now....

As stated if I had only one oil to purchase and receive a lifetime supply and only could run it in everything 2 stroke I own, It would be hard pick between R50 and K2.

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

K2 out of those 2. I like klotz but R50 will choke me out running 25:1 milling in the summer.

Fuel fragrance does help the smell, also110 mixed with R50 has a different smell but running110 in some saws is not worth it

Looks like pretty nasty crap
Ill ask u what have u done to prove that 2r is the cats meow beside use it and say its good oil. Proof ?
The proof is in the fact that it has a track record in multiple sports going back to the early 80's. The Factory Honda Motorcraft team even used it in the 90's.

As well as HP2, Maxima, Klotz, etc. What makes 2r so special? Just wondering as Ive tried 2r and found nothing more or less than other oils. 2 oils I tried that seemed to be funky with depoists internally were H1R and Super Techniplate. More of my visual observations though!!:)

Mobil 1 for my 4 strokes.
In my climate the vehicle rusts apart long before the motor is shot.
I run mobil 1 extended performance and change every 10k. Only do this for the longer drain intervals. The engine in my truck would run longer than I will own it on cheap Penzoil.

Nothing special, other than its a good oil at a good price with a very long track record. It also doesn't have some of the trade offs inherent with ester oils like Klotz.

Have u seen anyone in the last 3 yrs since we have been debating oils with any factual evidence? I havent. Just because anyone has used an oil for a few years and says its good oil isnt gonna get it for me just because they say so. I ran an 021 for 20yrs on orange bottle Stihl and its still running with 0 issues. Ive seen opinions here no better than mine or yours that made me conclude on using an oil. My own personal use and visual overservations on residual and wear has steered me toward 1 oil that I like the best upon many motors Ive torn down and its that simple
Lots of factual evidence has been presented. It just gets drowned out by the crap.
