@tree monkey is always telling me how well Schaeffers cleans things up. So after 3 gallons of amsoil mix, the top of the jug was fairly dirty. I decided to run 2 tanks only of schaeffers and test what he has been telling me. I'd say that looks pretty clean?

also there was some discoloration on the piston after running the amsoil. After the two tanks of schaeffers, the discoloration was gone. Sorry no pics you'll have to blame my 8yr old.

Next up... will run some klotz for a while and see what happens.

That is false. You will not damage a saw running it wide open all the time unless your doing it under no load. They are made for wide ooen throttle

I Think he meant its impossible to run full throttle all the time. Like trimming around flowers or something you don't want to destroy, or real small limbs that just require a little blip or half throttle to take off

stihl saws

You can always justify another saw.

I'm saying that no one runs their equipment wide open all the time. Not that it can't do it. Do you trim around flower beds wide open. No.

Actually yes I do. Just have to know the length of your string. Half throttle will kill the hell out of your flowers too

or maybe if it's dirty on the top it's not clean burning. Schaeffers has a very low flash point. I could see where very high flash like R50 would wash things.
Flashpoint doesn't tell you anything in regards to an oils end point or fire point.
Schaeffers is a TCW3 outboard oil.
