It would start and idle on fast run but once throttle was blipped it went dead after a few seconds. Pressure checked everything and replaced a flywheel side seal. Still wouldnt idle

So it would run ok if you didn't let it return to idle?

It runs fine as long as u r on the throttle just alil but dies if u let it idle on its own

There was an issue with the carb diaphragm being to soft and the saw loading up under idle. A stiffer diaphragm supposedly fixed it. I'm not sure if the idle is controlled by the AT or not. There is a jet you can access from the backside of the carb. Not sure if it could have anything to do with it.

Seems too much oil in mtron/At would create more drag and make the system hunt for more rpm? Possibly create more heat? Thoso systems have their limitations on adjustment I think but Im really not sure but seems it will add or take fuel away dependant on RPM?
The point is a strato saw has much less oil running through it than a traditional two stroke.

I wonder if these auto tune and m tonic saws get pissed off when people piss Rev and blip the throttle?l, Instead of starting them and putting them to work?

"to each their own" My 441 rcm hasn't blown up running 50:1 yet wonder why? I'm not here looking to argue with anyone, Just giving my information from experience. I have a Very good friend running saws I mean "Strato" saws With oil ratio's that you think wouldn't be possible and He cuts over 220 cords of wood a year and has no problems what so ever, Doesn't mean He's right and your wrong, just preference.
Just because your saw hasn't blown up or a buddies has ran on even less oil doesn't mean your doing the best thing for the motor. Oil issues seldom manifest themselves in the short term.

I don't know anything about Mtronic, but my 562 has ran great on "thick" bike oil and even at 20:1.
As far as I am concerned these electronic controlled carbs and strato charging are a great thing for the chainsaw world.

Blip ping the throttle to warm up my 562 hasn't had any I'll effects.
The machine is a little cold blooded, especially when the temps get below 20 degrees, but once warm it's always ran like a top.

I guess I mean the ones that get played with in the garage and never really get ran in wood where they belong. Then one puts them in wood and expect flawless runner. I'd bet they gotta get some feedback to run right not just blipped. I just guessing tho
