What should I be looking for?
You have made a 1000 smart ass comments in this thread and not answered a single question.
I'm begening to think you cant,I'm also begening to think you know nothing about a chainsaw, motorcycle, probably but that has nothing to do with a saw.
How would I draw any other conclusion given the fact you think boat oil and castor look great?
Any reason you refuse to use the type of oil the OEM'S spec?
What questions have you asked me?

He has a pretty good testimony for Klotz oil that he has used for 20yrs with 0 issues?
Keith, don't be gullable. I have never had a oil related failure, ever. That doesn't mean all oils are good.
That also doesn't mean that I am going to run the wrong type of oil in my motors searching for a failure.

One trend I see on this site is for guys to try a new oil, use it for five gallons or less, proclamation it the best based on smellnor color or some other non sense and the followers jump on the band wagon.
I ran K2 for over a year in bikes, blowers saws and trimmers in all sortsnof conditions before I would say it's good stuff. I also inspected the engines in detail. This is what needs to be done.
Making a few cuts or even a few gallons after a port job doesn't tell you squat.

Once again you avoid any answer.
When I do a build thread and someone ask a question and I tell them there stupid and wrong without any explanation is called being a dick and I would get called on it to.
What are you asking me?

If your asking for what oils I reccomend. Yam 2R, mobile 2r/mx2t, Maxima K2, Citgo Aircooled are all excellent oils that I have used extensively.
In general it's hard to go wrong with a Jaso FD/ ISO EGD oil that's intended for a premix application.
