What oil is best? and what ratio?

i heard the klotz super will gum up rings after 2 gallons of mix is used.

at 32:1 maybe.... this thread has pictures of klotz oils being ran at 40:1 to 50:1 with good results

I have 20ish gallons of fuel with Amsoil Saber @ 40:1 through my saws now and they all still run[emoji1]

You sumbeaches got me to research, found a better price on full synthetic JASO FD oil....

I hope you are all happy! Looked through that link posted earlier in this or the high-end oil thread, I can't remember which. Hard to find a JASO FD that is not a blend....

Motul 710 is the only full syn that I know that is officially FD certified. If someone knows of any others let me know.

stens is the same as opti 2 it comes from the same place according to the safety data sheet.

I haven't used much of it yet only a few gallons of mix. Im gonna use up my Amsoil and then burn the companies Red Armour.

It had a weird smell at first but wasn't bad, no smoke and everything ran well.

That's a good question.

Most racing oils like 800, K2, Hp2,Yamalube etc..woudn't pass the FD testing because of the smoke. It might not be much but its enough to fail as FD rated
