no greater pain then hitting a nail or bullet after just putting a new blade on….
We cut some pine out of a yard. There were three boys and one girl. All were Bonkers about guns and trapping. The top logs were riddled with led. The trees stood next to the drive and they wood wait in the garage then sneak out and shoot at the birds. Never hit iron in any of the logs.

I don't mind lead bullets all.....screws & porcelain insulators on the other hand.....that really stinks!

Cannon balls, Log chain and deer stand MSC aren't on my favorite list.. Usually catch the deer stuff. I saw what a Carriage headblock will do on a 60" F style 8/9 gauge blade in Chanute KS.
No cutting that blade down.

Started a new stack.
Used 4" x 8.5" oak for the foundation.
Stickers every 24".
Using cedar stickers on the pine in hopes of it causing less sticker-stain or mold.
Enough clearance underneath so the dog & cats can keep the wild critters out.
