100ll av gas in the summer and 87 e-free in the winter. The 100ll runs cooler in the summer and provides a bit more protection for the ported saws against detonation when they're hot and working hard... Plus 100ll doesn't spoil like regular gas does. You mileage may vary.

87 for me normally. I did buy some 90 the other day. Not sure I like it. Probably dump it in the wife's ride and go get more 87.

93 non-E is close to my work so that's what I use in all my 2-cycles. 87 non-E is available but it's several more miles away.

With the higher octane fuels you can run a bit more timing advance because the higher octane usually has a slightly slower combustion as I understand it. With the oxygenated fuels, I'd think you'd have to re-tune to avoid running too lean. With M-tronic or Auto-tune, that goes out the window I suppose.

I've tried half to 3/4 of a key of advance and still can't get the 100 octane plus to run right. I never tried it with the 372xpw 2 piece. It's got enough compression to run good with methanol.

It's always run well in the 372 that Stumpy built me, or well enough that I didn't notice it misbehaving. There very well could be a better solution that I haven't experienced yet.

E0 90 octane since its the only fuel I can get for it with no ethanol.

It will run just not as good as it could be. I don't even like 90 octane out here. I like the 87 best. I actually dumped the 90 I bought into the wife's vehicle yesterday. I'll be going by a high volume E free station tomorrow and get 5-6 gallons or so then.
