What did you do TO your saw today?

Tore down another 262 and cleaned it. Cleaned up cylinder inside and out, spray painted muffler, put in a new fuel line, put a new brake band in the clutch cover and continued to enjoy the warmth of my fall labors.

What kind of spray paint did you use for the muffler?

Cleaned up an 036, rebuilt the carb, modded the muffler, and made a couple cuts with it...

Awesome! Thanks, I have used VHT several times. I actually used their silver header paint for my custom muffler. lol!

Took my "new" homelites apart and did all that to find out both have some bad piston scoring. Hoping the cylinder isn't to bad so I can hone it and replace the piston with an aftermarket I found. Buddy of mine has an ol homelite that runs that he'll give or sell to me so I'm looking into that as well. haha

Moved it on bench #2 so I could test bar modding for fit.

Made this up at work today. It's for my 044 hybrid I'm slowly building. I need to find some nice thick handle bar wrap for it. I've got big hands and the handles always feel so small.... Started with the original 044 half wrap and attached a piece of an old 038 half wrap that I had laying around.

Pulled the carb from my @TreeMonkey MS460 to send up to Scott for a little more lovin'. Installed a stock rebuilt carb to get me by for firewood work.
