I was just looking at my watched threads on fleabay and somewhere somehow there appears to be a china clone of some saw labeled as Honda. I'm a huge fan of genuine Honda small engines on things like log splitters, power washers etc... but dang... Is it junk or what? Anyone else see these?

I'd like to but I'm not that savvy. If I knew how I'd post pics of my builds.

Looks like a China knock off Husqvarna.

I know the trademark infringement line is very thin but i figured a big corporation like honda wouldve squashed them by now.

I’m holding out for the Ducati twin...

Bet they can sell a few before Honda corporate drops the hammer.

I'm pretty sure that other than the writing, that saw or its parts have no relationship to Honda Corporation. It looks a lot like the China eBay professional saw I did a review on a couple years ago. That saw actually runs and cuts pretty well. I haven't used it in a while since my son has it down in FL. These same saws show up with all different colors and bar logos but I'm betting they're all cousins if not brothers and sisters. The price on that one is high at over $200.

+1
I've seen many different plastics same chassis
Not a bad deal mine was 79.00 shipped
58cc friend had to have it
Still his only saw firewooder.
Like he said it's already paid for itself.
The new craftsman remington rodeo blue max all look to have the same chassis

I watched a youtube vid of a guy who bought the cheapest saw on amazon, it was about $120 a no name 60ish cc saw. Felled a tree and limbed it. All worked as it should so why not ? Myself wants more quality for the long run but if you cut very little and get a few yrs out of then I think that's a good deal. This post was mostly that I was very surprised to see a name like Honda on anything like that. No sooner than I'd expect to see a Chevy bowtie on the front of a knock off smart car.
