I believe it would have the same issue as LP 3/8, it's a matter of soft wood and narrow kerf/ small teeth, I'd say unless you run a larger sprocket (which is an option) you're not using a saw with this kind of power to it's full potential with an LP chain, I personally wouldn't run it just for the durability alone, nevermind cutting speed etc. this saw is much stronger than I expected really It pulls like an older 50cc saw stock, gotta see what a muffler mod does to it.
Well I think 40 maybe 50cc sized saws are the upper limit for LP chain. You'll know when a saw wants more chain and you just move up. Where the LP shines is making the most of not a lot of power not the other way round lol.
