May have been the intake floor bevel. I never touched that part of the port though.

Another thought was embedment of glass bead in the plate? I never did my final step of scotchbrite on this jug.

Also, case had some crankcase corrosion that I cleaned the best I could and flushed out.

I'm still not sure.

I thought it was on the exhaust side?

Need some advice.

Changed coil wire, saw no longer dies at all.

Saw wants to die off idle. Tune wanders like nuts on the high end. Not acting like an air leak.

Acting pig rich

Brand new wt194 carb out of the box.

Any ideas?

I didn't run without AF. Could be pulling choke closed.

Sounds like it could definitely be the choke. Seems like they tend to do that when ported well.

This one's a bit spicier than the others I've done. I purposely went with a flat and wide intake port, hoping the velocity increase would do something.

I hope it's just the filter.

Swapped an 026 metal air filter and cover on the saw.

Not much to cut here with the snow.

Here it is at 12,500 and 14,200.

It leaned itself a bit when I tried to tach it. I saw 15,600

Piston had the original rubs, but no new ones.
