I have a couple of my Dad's old saws that have pump non e in them. They haven't been run in a few years. I just checked and the gas still doesn't have that stale smell to it. Last I ran the 076 it had 3 yr old gas in it and popped on the first pull. Topped it off with fresh and ran it. It reminds me of the Unocal 76 we had around here years ago.

I do trust my source though, they blend it fresh on site from base stock.
I wish are fuel was that good,
I use no e in saws I run alot.......
I don't run any of my saws alot anymore.
Mostly customer saws .
I run no e 91 in my old truck .
I tell my customers to run true
Fuel, it saves me alot of trouble.

Those big cans are 110oz not 128oz.

No crap!? Definitive Dave said he bought a gallon for $16 so I assumed the can held 128 ounces. I've never looked at the can but after you pointed it out, I checked and it is indeed a 110 oz. can. Bummer!

In that case, if you're a savvy buyer you can buy fuel in the 32 oz. can a lot cheaper than in the 110 oz. cans.

I like keeping the canned fuel around. I don't make a habit of it, but I'll occasionally lend out a two stroke powered tool. It's handy to just send along a can of fuel that I know is good. Also, I'll fill my string trimmer with it for over winter storage.

I've heard people say that they reuse the 32oz bottles, which seems handy. I'd be a little worried about mistaking pump gas for canned fuel, but it'd be easy to scratch off part if the label or something.

The airports around me will not sell to me unless they see wings.

How is milling different than cutting 16" pieces from a stick? Just flat wide open throttle?

Very little idle time. I go wide open from the time it enters the cut til it finishes or runs out of fuel. If the chain is right all I have to do is hold the trigger. I've run out mid cut several times and it was around 1.5 minutes per foot of cut and 5' it died.

Don't knock one til you try it. Awesome saws. When done right.
i have tried one modded by my buddy i like it over a 395 xp but a 660 is not practical for my wood lot because all the big wood is gone from the lot.

Lol, it depend what your guys pay for 943.35cc
We only has the option to purchase alkylate fuel, 3$ for 1 litre if I buy 25 litre can.

Cans are nice to pour from, so I bought a few to put it my cutting bucket. I refill them with my own E Free mix. Pretty interesting reading on the side of can...

Over here quite a few dealers now offer refilling of the cans from barrels of premix. Often a little cheaper than new cans.
