I like the lowest octane canned fuel I can get. Trufuel is 92 and VP is 94. I wanted to try the stihl fuel but at $8 a quart or $27 a gallon I didn't.

Tractor Supply carries VP SEF pre-mix 40:1 and 50:1 in true gallon cans for 19.95. Like RI Chevy, no e-free nearby for me either.

Yup. Not cheap up here. Costs lots of money to run these awesome saws.
I thought that 5 gallon can would last me a year. Not even 2 months. Lol

I don't trust pump gas for storage long term

I have a couple of my Dad's old saws that have pump non e in them. They haven't been run in a few years. I just checked and the gas still doesn't have that stale smell to it. Last I ran the 076 it had 3 yr old gas in it and popped on the first pull. Topped it off with fresh and ran it. It reminds me of the Unocal 76 we had around here years ago.

I do trust my source though, they blend it fresh on site from base stock.

You might have to start using pump gas in that 660. A gallon is 4 tanks at about 15 minutes of WOT.
Lol. I guess I will go back to regular gas in spring. Yikes. Big tank in the 660. Lol
But lots of fun to use. Like a Disney ride.

I have used some over a year old. Just easier for me to buy 2 cans of that and put it in the stuff that don't get run much at all.

Yeah milling I've used a tank in 9 minutes. One cut was longer than that.

How is milling different than cutting 16" pieces from a stick? Just flat wide open throttle?
