Thats on Mtronic Saws till Version 2.0, these saws do only a factory reset with the 90 seconds run on triangle position.
Since Mtronic 2.1 and its real calibration process only for the WOT part.
I have some german document here which say the idle tune will only be affected with the Software calibration routine.

during calibration by the user, the idling is not set.
During calibration with SDS, control limits are shifted.
the height must be recorded + - 500 meters.
Calibration by the customer corresponds to a carburettor standard setting with clipped limiter caps.
the boundaries are fixed and can not be moved.
Calibrate with SDS corresponds to the basic setting with preassembled caps. The rule limits will be.

Question for the guys that have had some of these a part and look at parts more closely than I @tree monkey @AlfA01 Is the regular handle specific to this saw or could one use a different 1128 handle in a pinch?

How many tanks did you already burn with the 462?

Takes about 50 hours or more to do that to a bar if your working it hard, in my experience.

More than 30 each of two 462s... one of them used with white nylon filter.

Saws are used daily maybe 7-10tanks maybe more, days job pending

I m really jealous for you guys in the USA. Your market is awesome, products, accessories and the best saw builders.

Also really wanted to buy saws and keep them as new in box like many i see here.

Unfortunately I work my saws hard, really hard. I m more than 5 months cleaning the fire burned woods that killed 100 people in late July. So I work in ashes mud and burned trees. My saws don’t really love me

Harder than I believed when I started. My chains are sharp at 7:30morning on my first pull and after couple hours useless!!! Lol.

What i ve learned while doing this is: not all of my chains are for same use. Have some chains only felling, some chains limbing and some general use.

Needless to say that RD3 chains not even work here. I destroyed 3 of them very quick less than week. And I really care about my chains. Trees are dangerous cause in-house trees are full of metal stuff inside out and even CEMENT inside—yes i lived that. You can get killed also by that.
