028 had cut more firewood than any saws combined
That may be why I still own three of them. All run, all work, and all cut good firewood. Holy Cow, I just checked. I own four of them. Please forgive me. Gasp!028 had cut more firewood than any saws combined

Great pics there nice sawMine would have to be the ms 361 and dolmar 7900/7910. Really like the way both feel. I've had a couple surgeries on my hands , so antivibe plays a big part in which saws I take out. View attachment 15184View attachment 15185![]()

Couldn't agree moreTo most normal saw users the best firewood saw is the one that starts, has enough power for the job at hand and requires minimal maintenence.

It obviously depends on how big you need to go for firewood...for me, 18-20" is plenty and my Poulan 3000 screams with the 18"/.325 on it. It always starts, runs all day long and never misses a beat. Right behind it would be my modified Wood Shark/Wild Thing with a 16"....it runs like a raped ape and its just plain fun to use.![]()
I got oneMs290. Cheap, good, everyone has or had one.
