That may be why I still own three of them. All run, all work, and all cut good firewood. Holy Cow, I just checked. I own four of them. Please forgive me. Gasp!
Its bad when ya forget how many saws ya got.

I thought i only had 8 and did a count and had 10. Now i figure i gotta make it an even dozen.

028 had cut more firewood than any saws combined

Ahh.........in the stihl world, yes. 028's, (and 041's), would be the likely champs there.

But the overall "most wood cut" title probably has to go to the XL-12's and 10-10's. On the market for the most years and top sellers throughout their model runs. And plenty still out there adding to the total. :)

Mine would have to be the ms 361 and dolmar 7900/7910. Really like the way both feel. I've had a couple surgeries on my hands , so antivibe plays a big part in which saws I take out. View attachment 15184

It obviously depends on how big you need to go for firewood...for me, 18-20" is plenty and my Poulan 3000 screams with the 18"/.325 on it. It always starts, runs all day long and never misses a beat. Right behind it would be my modified Wood Shark/Wild Thing with a 16"....it runs like a raped ape and its just plain fun to use.

Another example of saws that don't get any respect, but still get the job done.

If the truck is full on the ride home, you have a good firewood saw. :)
