Well I went to the post office with the tracking number.....lady tried to tell me it was delivered and I told her it was not....least not to my box. Well come to find out the package was still at the post office. :bash: Her excuse was that there must have been a lot of packages being delivered and somehow mine was looked over....I have no clue....anyhow...Only the second time this has happened. lol Cylinder is here though! Thanks Jason!

I watched your vid and thought I might need a new filter. Mines a bit grungy. Gonna stop over at the dealer and see if they have one. Gotta go and order a bar for my MS271 anyway.

I picked up an HD2 at the shop for mine today. I already cleaned the old one and it still looked bad. haha

I use the chain brake to tighten the clutch once I get the saw running. Rev it and them hit the brake...do it a few times and good to go.
My understanding is that your method isn't the best for the crank snout.

I snug it up and always start with the bar on, than lay it in wood. Never had a problem.

Yeah, To me it's no different than hitting the brake when you want to stop the chain. lol I did forget to mention that we do this with a bar and chain On, and not a lot either...only a few times. It will self tighten in wood soon enough.

Howdy folks! She lives again! Installed a new throttle cable and now it actually idles. Old one had a little kink in it......anyhow....also installed a new HD2 filter and a 32 inch light bar. Just gotta sharpen the chain and she's ready to cut some lumber! Did get some running video so when I get that uploaded I will post. Thanks for following along on this rather poorly detailed build. After I run a few tanks through it we'll see about some small mods like a max flow and dual port. Pictures taken while letting the saw brake in this evening. 002.JPG 003.JPG
