Glad to here this i got in a big argument on another thread about this once.it was pretty heated as well.my opinion was very much as you stated.
Like Ryan said to each their own Cracker but Ill keep my 064/066. Id pick it over my 046, 390xp, or a 661 or 660. I run quit a few 660s and like the way they cut but if someone cant put a 28es light on a 064/066 and a 660 and tell a difference in balance somethings amiss. Other than my 440/460 hybrid my 064/66 balances better than anything Ive handled. Well a 661c with a 32 es light balances really well too

We can go kill trees with my 461 and your 064 keith..bet you don't cut any more wood than I do :)

I know the 2-3 seconds mean the world to some..they don't mean Jack *s-word to me.

To each is own :borra2:
I had a 461 also Ryan. It cut well but theres a reason Ive ran them all and still have a 064/66. If I was gonna pick a 70cc class saw right now it wouldnt be a 461 but a 7900 or 7910. Carl Miller makes thoso walk the walk!!:)

Agreed i personally dont own a 460 for the reason that a 460 weighs same as an 064 and athe 064 will smoke it and my 044 is my other fav as well

I've ran/owned 461s ported by 4 different guys and not for 5 cookie cuts at a GTG..i really wanna see how bad your 064 will beat my best 2 461s in a real log..not a 12x12 square.

I actually told my buddy LaslabJohn on here not too long ago I didnt understand why everyone says the 064/66 vibrates. John recently built 2 NOS 064s and his r as smooth as mine

Been there and done it . My 461 buried with a 28 in hardwood pulled good but was like daylight and dark difference in a stock 661 and my ported 064/066. Actually not even in the same ballpark Ryan

YOUR 461.
Randy ported it and it was strong Ryan but I like the extra torque of a bigger cc saw on a 28" bar. I understand u picking one up allday u have a different perspective on whats needed or liked . If I was picking one up allday I think it would be a 562xp with a 24 or 28 light bar with skip chain

That so mean and hurt Mike !

I'm going to go polish my wildthing now
Its kinda like a brand of surf reel i use called a van staal.not the smoothest but will outlast a shimano or a diawa any day with a sealed drag.kinda like a 79 chevy staight axle 4/4 3/4 ton verses a 2016 3/4 ton 4/4 chevy.not the smoothest but more durable.
