I just remembered the 066 flattie I had in 2009-10 keith..it was a real ringer with a muffler mod..musta had good numbers.

It would knocked the fillings outta your chops though, but it sure was a runner..cant remember who I sold it to.
I build a good many 066/660 for a treeservice fellow here. He runs 32"+ bars on them and hammers the crap out of them!! Breaks mounts, handles, breaks crankcases where the dawg bolts on. They pry on them hard enough that the tank/handle frame cuts into the intake boot. Same with their 200t and 201t. Extremely rough on them. Thoso come in with the mounts completely worn out or broken. I think on the 064/66/660 its neccessary to keep new mounts in good shape and Im not sure right off hand but seems I remember different levels of cushion/elasticity on the mounts

I'm going to have to reconsider my comment. I went back and watched some of my videos and the 064/066 does look to be stronger, although it does have more time on it and more broken in.

WTF smelling .. your saws only cut rotten pine...GTFO...that video was fake.

I believe you are correct on the mounts.

The only saws that bother me with vibes are the cheap poulans at WOT. My hands tingle!! I dont notice any difference between my 064 and my 390 that rides on springs. Id actually prefer the 064 but thats just me Mike.

I have a crapsman I took out of a dumpster I cut railroad ties with and roots buried in the ground...i don't even know what model it is because all the decals are gone..that sumnabitch vibrates BAD.

I told him back up before all this dirt hits u!!!!:eek::eek::D Ryan a cordless Dewalt sawzall with a 8" pruning blade works well on roots to about 4"

I mirror what @sawmikaze and @mdavlee said. Old saws do not compare to modern saws in a WORK environment. I've been trying to sell my 660 for a 661, because it's just on a different level. 064s and 64 hybrids are novelties. I would never use one for 7 hours a day.

I actually use saws for a living, just an idiots opinion...

All the treeservice and loggers around here hadnt made the leap to electronics . They wont touch them. Still usin 036, 440, 460, 066, 660, husky 372, 266, 268, 575. For the most part dealers here dont like them and dont promote them but really dont have a choice now. I know of a total 2 people in my area that have 661s but they may catch on eventually

I guess its all in what u want. I repair a treeservice that runs several 440,460s and recently bought a new 461 and a 660 from my buddy John. He came by the otherday and I ask him how u likin the new 461 and 660? His reply was, " I wouldnt take a truckload of either over the 2 440s you built me!!":D
