I have a set the studs are loose on the case but the rest is good as far as I remember.

If it’s the set I sent you the front stud is loose. Otherwise they were in decent shape

9 sets I bought to rebuild. I didn't get a single one with both good crank and case. Another reason I'm done rebuilding. Can't keep losing money on them

I was under the impression that they are. I had a OEM 440 wide cover here, and the leading edge had a substantial setback from the front of the case. Which in turn made the dawgs not square. As in, it would have been ideal for right bias cuts.

440= 1122 648 040(1)

Interesting the link states it’s a direct replacement for the 0403
But doesn’t list 0401

Could it be made up in the outer dog? The 460 was like that. Same cover different dog for the length.
