Hey Dan! I have a complete 271 that may be a runner if you're interested. I acquired a rash of saws from a shop that was closing up. This is one of them. All I've done is peak in the exh port. Cylinder looks OK. Piston as well. Many of the saws/trimmers I acquired from this shop started with fresh gas....

All the saws I received look like they were under a bench or in a dark corner collecting grease and grime. Just a quick wipe reveals they will spiff up nice nice. This is missing the inside chain brake cover.

I had thought of having it in the fleet... But the 026, and the wife's ms260 fill that void... What do they convert to?

Convert from only having usable Partners, and Mac's for 50cc stuff and a slightly larger Echo. Plus some 30cc to sub 50cc stuff. I've tinkered on a couple of friends Husky's and a neighbors Stihl. but no long term usages.

All wires twist off once You turn them often enough!

If you twist one off or trash it trying, one of these does the trick to get the rest without damaging the pin. Just snip the lead at the coil and go easy for a nice clean removal. The pic is a Rockler for like 15 bucks or so. Made mine with a piece o' brake line and a Dremel.

I had several like that. Bubba built em and sold em.
