I need info!

I have taken a neighbors Husqvarna 365 Special with carb issues to the local Husqvarna dealer and she has been sitting in a cardboard box partially dismantled for two months now - supposedly ordered parts are out of stock and backordered.

Logically my neighbor called me about the saw, needs it for cutting firewood.
All I could say "not fixed yet!".

Now, I see this saw can take a Zama and a Walbro carb - are they direct swaps???

I ask because I could source an AM Walbro off eBay affordable and fast, but do not know what carb is on the saw OEM.

I just need this saw back assembled and in running condition, no more no less!

And, yeah - lesson learned.
Stay the f©k away from other peoples defective OPE!!!

Try explain shipping twice the price of the parts purchased!

So, both Zama and Walbro are directly interchangeable according to that IPL!?

The owner will know whether or not an AM carb got installed.

Walbro carb would be a HD-12 if I remember correctly. Should be direct swap between the Walbro and Zama.

That number in the last pic is the actual part number we need to see, as well as any prefix such as "HDA", "WT", etc.

I know where a fried 562 is, in the garage of the guy I got two Dolmar and one Makita saws from last Saturday.
I asked about it out of curiosity and he said the saw is defective/fried.

Best go with new, at least he knows what he gets.

Those are long NLA and quite sought after.

It would be much easier for You to get a front 14mm stud bar plate and drill/grind two holes for the rear 9mm studs.

I can find Caber rings, but no pistons.
