If you have a good standing member vouch for you that could expedite the process.
Other wise its a good system to protect the members here from the scams that regularly plague other forums.

Had 4 of the 5 Grandkids over for Halloween (ages 0 - 14)! The 14 year old is wearing his other Grandfather's (he has passed) real uniform.
