Both the Cross and HYway kits are decent kits with the Cross having the popup advantage. Either one will turn an 029 into a whole different saw, especially with a major muffler mod. You hear that all the time, but it's especially true with the 1127 mufflers -- even on an 029.

Yea she runs real good...I'm waiting on a new clutch drum/needle bearing and sprocket .

I’m looking for a stihl ms880 clip/spring for that style muffler! Dealer sold me the muffler and clamps and then two weeks later told me the spring is no longer available! If anyone has one or could locate one for me I would happily compensate them $ wise for their time and the part thanks

I show the spring (1124-145-1800) currently available for $10.99 and the clips/wedges (1124-145-1905) available for $17.49 from Bryan Equipment which is the distributor for our region.

May want to check with another dealer.

I think I need a piston for a husky 450 rancher for my buddy if someone has one laying around.

Hi, Larry. I was just going by the 2021 price book. Saw both items still listed.

Any of you guys have any Husqvarna 455 parts? I've got one here that belongs to a friend. He let some dipstick work on it, and it's now missing the linkage from the carb to the strato butterfly.

I think I may have one of those as I had to replace a carb on one of those a while back and still have the old one in a bin under the bench...
I may not be able to check for it until tomorrow though.

No worries. Looks like Bruce is able to get that for me.

My dealer called Bryan equipment well he said he did at least but thanks I’m going to have to make some phone calls myself and see about getting one!
