Hey chaps, I picked up an old Stihl 042 recently cheap, just for sentimental reasons (It was the first and only saw I remember my Dad having as I was growing up) and I need an air filter cover, part number 1117 141 1005 with the 2 screws as pictured below, can anyone help?

Looking for a Stihl 026/Ms260 coil. These same coils are used on the 036 and 044.
The Stihl part number for the module itself is 0000-400-1300. If you don't have the kill switch wires that is fine. I have those.
Not interested in one from China. Thanks

I believe the 044/440 and 460 all use the same coil. Lots of 460s out there!

That said, I have had very good luck with the AM coils for these. You just need to shorten the plug wire, which is very easy (unscrew from coil, cut, and screw back on).

That coil is the 'universal coil' and found on tons of saws. Should be easy to source an OEM, though the AM's also seem to work fine from most accounts. Otherwise, find a blown up 029 and you're in business.

Anyone have an oil pump (or diaphragm) for an 011? Why am I messing with this junk? I don't know.
Also need an air filter setup for a Poulan Pro 405 Plus. That should be fun to find.
Lots 'o junk to trade.

Anyone have a need for a big mount Stihl hard nose bar? 36”, .063 groove. Takes 114 drive links on 3/8 if I remember right or it’ll run .404. Also looking for 28” or longer big mount Husky bar.

Can that be adapted to husky? I could lighten it.

Possibly. An 880 has 14mm studs and the slot is longer. It would definitely need the adapter rings but the longer slot may work better than a 3003 Stihl mount.

Anyone have a couple of 272 type brake covers. I'm building up a couple of those right now, and some fool gutted the brakes including handles. I'd love an old- style brake band for the 266, but I wouldn't let go of one if I had it, so probably going to go with the later style. I have a couple of good covers, just no internals.
