You really know you wanted to buy it if you find pictures of it years later still mocking you.

051 minty with a beautiful engraved early Stihl bar and an extra brand new carburetor in the box, two extra chains, I offered 150.00 and he was dead set on 200.00.
I called back the next day and it was sold


Lighted working Remington Clock in Antiques market they wanted 160.00, I thought "it's just a remington, nobody is gonna buy that for 160.00, I will wait till it gets down to 100.00 and snatch it up"
WRONG it got snatched up that week for 160.00 by somebody else

How about this one, a saw that I actually bought in 2014 but ended up selling a year later. Possibly the saw that is responsible for my addiction. A new never fueled skilsaw 1645 with metal carrying case and 3or 4 brand new skillsaw branded bars with matching skil branded chains I still think about that saw regularly... breaks my heart. Oh yeah I paid $65 for it. Guy had it listed for $60 I get there hand him the $60 he counts it and says it was $65 not 60 so am going to argue?....

Dolmar PS-7310!

Used but looked OK in the two crappy pictures - sold by a pawnshop in a town ~200Km from where I live, one way.
The ad was up over 2 months, they wanted 320$ for it - I hesitated.
They dropped the price in their ad to 280$ on new years eve - I call the 4th and they say "oh yeah, that one is gone"!

Still kicking my own ass for that.
My dad offered to pay for fuel and come along if we make a visit to one of his former work buddy's on our way home.

What a F-n idiot (me)!

Not sure if it got away or even existed, but on CL there was an 064 for $75. Decent condition by the pictures. Said that it ran, grandpa's saw blah blah....only listed a phone number to respond to. When you called the number it was disconnected. So either it was a cruel joke or someone mistyped the number. That ad mocked me for over a month. It still stings.

A few yrs back I was picking up some Husqvarna parts from a dealer I know. Times were tight and when i was asked if i would like a trade , serviced by them Stihl 044 for £200.00 I just couldn't lock up the cash in it right there. That night i looked on Ebay...and watched 3 worse condition ones make between £300-400 . Phoned first thing in the AM...sold to a tree guy before close of the day i was in there for £300 !!!!!

Someone did that by me only it was a 660 an 200t for $100 or $100 each ? and then listed someone's else's number ( they must of hated ) lol.
