We just talked in an abandoned parking lot with a couple other people until almost 10pm
There are better things to do with a girl in a "abandoned" parking lot than just talk.

I will say I preferred parking in our corn fields.
That is until the night Dad decided to come back for one last load at 10PM.........

Last week I ordered a lawn boy 1300 weed whacker powerhead from eBay for $75, half of what the seller initially wanted. Today it came and the box was awfully large, he included ANOTHER lawn boy weed whacker powerhead! Another model. Made my day. I do have at least 1 spare shaft for these. Looking forward to working on them tomorrow along with a wheelie bar build for my John Deere wheelie mower and working on my Allis Chalmers 610. Today was bucking bulls and spreading manure at work 1000003329.jpg

Just got this running:
Next is oil change, new breather, new tires(ags in the back), and a chrome stack. Not sure I'm keeping it tho. I gotta fix the hydro disengagement thing before I can drive it.

I was able to test drive my John Deere 312 the other day.
This morning I drove 30 minutes plus each way to buy a homelite zip chainsaw powerhead with a homelite ez brush cutter attachment on it for $40. Turns over. Recoil needs to be fixed. In good shape for a zip. I'm not keen on keeping it as I wanted the xl12/SuperXL brush cutters much more. Would love to trade the zip powerhead for a proper EZ. 1000003499.jpg1000003500.jpg1000003501.jpg1000003502.jpg

Got another load of free stuff today, from a guy I previously did traded some model cars to for a lawn tractor for resale, all for resale. The Poulan and craftsman push mowers and honda gcv 190 all run great. Other 2 units are for parts.
The utility trailer I got for free yesterday with a homelite c7 chainsaw that runs is already sold for $125, it was a 5x13, I sold it because in addition to lights wiring, a jack, and a floor it also needed metal brackets to hold up the leaf springs, they were rusted out, also the tires were super old. 1000003661.jpg

You must have a hell of a junk pile.
The amount of stuff I have has gotten insane. I always have a scrap pile going though. I'll be going to the scrap yard as soon as I get my new to me tandem axle trailer hopefully this week. I salvage every usable part off of everything before I scrap it.

I had a homelite bandit string trimmer identical to that one in your truck bed. I fought with that thing for years. Always had air leaks, always had fuel leaks. Spent more time screwing with it than any other 2 stroke I've owned

I lost it one day after the fuel tank split and covered my back in premix. I did my best Gallager impression on the concrete in the driveway with it and went and bought a new trimmer.

Free can be too expensive lol

The 55 Husky is an awesome little saw, rebuilt one and gave it to my friend, he loves huskys with tweakable carbs and really likes that saw for its size to power ratio. I have a case, cover and coil for another that I will rebuild at some point. Great saw!

I've had 3 and from my experience they are not bad...
