The saw sold less than 30 minutes from when you posted...did you give in?

Gonna be replacing the serpentine belt, tensioner, and idler on my truck this week or weekend most likely. Then take it in a month for the water pump and AC belt kit. Then take it in for tie rods and alignment. Then install a new hitch receiver this summer.😵‍💫
My current job said I could start coming in on some Tuesdays and Thursdays today. They also gave me a raise. I guess next I’m going to get a dishwashing job at the tavern on some nights or something for extra money.

once you get the fan loosened up from the water pump, I bet you'll be suprised by how easy the water pumps are to remove and replace on those trucks.
I was thinking about doing it myself. I don’t have the tool to remove the fan clutch tho. Plus it’s snowy and cold and winter here in WI and we have no garage or anything. If it was summer I think I would buy the tool and do it myself. Another reason I don’t want to do it myself now is because 95 percent of my tools are at the place in Merrill sadly. I watched a YouTube video and it did look fairly easy.

Ask your boss at the farm if you can pull into the shop on one of your days off, and get it fixed..

I use an air chisel on the fan clutch nut, its probably not exactly the proper way, but a quick hit with an air chisel has always loosened them up for me.

edited to add, leave belt on until fan is off, itll help hold the pulley in place.

oh yeah one more edit, check the threads on the new water pump before trying to loosen the fan nut, they could be reverse, but i am pretty sure they are standard.
