I seen that mount was close. I didn't want to buy one on a guess. Thanks!

I have an oddball titan 620. Not many out there. Well I like this saw and the bar mount pattern is confusing me. Everything I look up says it takes a 176 pattern bar, the 176 has a 8mm slot but my bar studs are just shy of 9mm. Does anyone know what bar would fit? I seems the 176 tensioner stud and oil hole line up fine.

I have a few good used D009 bars in 20 and 24. if you are interested send me a PM.

Been cold outside so I pulled a few saw projects out. Just finished this mini Mac collage of parts to make my all yellow mini. I originally built this saw a few years ago with a new piston, seals and walbro MDC. It ran poor due to a crankcase leak. Not wanting to pull it back apart I just put it on the shelf for later. I pulled it down this weekend and put a really nice Zama m1m7 carb on it and pressure checked the crankcase and found a tiny crack in the oil pump base. Swapped out the pump and and it was tight all the way to 7 psi and down to 15 in. Just got it back together tonight. If I see day light after work tomorrow I'll fuel it up and see how it does.

Did Mac offer a felling spike for the mini Mac? I see two suspicious holes in the clutch cover like one exist.

I always wondered the same :nusenuse: as the first mini's never had the molded in spike on front of case like later models. Not sure I kept any of those style clutch covers...you got me thinking now and I may have go digging through some stuff.

Cool little FrankenMac, there.

The PM6 and MiniMac 6 IPLs show a conventional spike being available. My PM6 has one as standard issue -- part number 68412. There's also a 91051 kit for the PM6..., presumably including the hardware, hence the different part number. I don't have a MM6, but the IPL refers to a spike part number of 84715 as an accessory for that saw.

I believe it (the 'spike') was simply cast into the front cover thereafter..., basically when the chain brakes were also introduced. I'm sure Mark can provide any additional details or corrections.

Hey Guys, First post on here been messing with old saws for quite a few years. Macs are my favorite, just started getting into "collecting" them the past year or so. I finally made it through all 88 pages, took me nearly a week of a few mins here and there. Anyways, I figured I'd put a couple of my saws up and say hi.

As Poge noted, there was an spike (84715) listed as an accessory for the early Mini Mac saws, I don't know that I have ever seen one.

Later saws had a "spike" cast into the front cover. This one happens to be a 110.

The PM 6 did have a decent spike available, and the oomph to use it if needed.

I guess I’ll go take a pic of the spike for y’all. It’s on one of my little saws I believe.

I'm curious..., especially if it's something other than a PM6 or a MM6.

I think I put it on the SP40 which is the same tank as the minis I believe. I’ll take a pic tomorrow.

Finally got the pic. It’s on the SP40. Not sure if it fits the Mini or not.

Thanks for posting the pics. The couple of MiniMacs that I just checked aren't threaded for the spike. Looks like it would fit if they were, tho. But yet another part number..., 91735 for the 'kit' as an accessory in the SP40 IPL.
