Hey gents, I have an older Oregon bar that came off a 740. It’s a 36”.058 gauge bar based on the numbers. I was able to get most of the rust off and you can see there is some pitting. I have no idea what it’s worth but let me know if you are interested, thanks!

The 10-10 super, was lightly stuck but little liquid wrench in plug hole and a little force from ratchet on clutch nut and it’s free with compression.

The pretty filthy 5-10 but rolls over with great compression. Last photo is the carb, is this the “bullfrog” carb?

10-10 automatic still locked up at the moment but haven’t put any effort in yet to break free has the short chain cover with brake in good shape. Now I just need to decide what one to start on first.

Also got a pair of 1-40’s in the lot, one with the add on oil tank and pump and one that never got the update and is still supposed to use left over oil from crankcase to lube chain. One is free with compression and one stuck. Also got 2 360 homelites, a jonsred 520 sp and two echos.

I had a 2-10? parts saw I used the tank off of to convert my 5-10 to a SDC.
Sounds like the easy way out, guess I’m ok with what’s on it depending on amount of work to switch and if no performance gain. I do have a 10-10 automatic that is locked up but haven’t attempted to break loose yet the super 10-10 was frozen to much to pull over with rewind but broke free easily. I’m sure stuck rings

I have a 10-10 that threw its ring, broke it into pieces and then pounded some of them into the roof of the cylinder - no scratches on the sidewall. I will probably have to coordinate with someone with a lathe that might be able to smooth them down, they are pounded in pretty hard. I didn't do this, it came to me this way, I imagine it made quite a sound right before getting really quiet!!

I bought a PM700 really cheap & got it delivered today.I went through it briefly & this is what I found - missing the air filter (no problem there),has a broken sawdust screen, needs a fuel line.I pulled the plug & scraped off the carbon from the electrode & put a shot of fuel in it along with the cleaned plug & it fired.Next I examined the fuel filter, which looked remarkably clean. Then added fuel & pulled it over a few times & had a perfectly running saw! Mark,I'll be in touch with you to order the parts I need.Oh yeah, someone who thought they were clever gutted the chain brake & it has no lever either.Pics to come after completion.

Get a picture of that before you put it on the lathe.
