Look at the top of your cylinder/head, there may be a letter stamped on it as the 82cc saws came from the factory as an "A", "B", or "C". No stamp indicates a "B".

I have a few NOS piston assemblies (piston, rings, bearings) in each size, I think Max has some as well.

I would not recommend the LRB option unless you reuse your wrist pin. I have not been happy with the LRB pistons but Maintenance Supervisor has a saw he put together with one that turned out well. LRB has ignored the three letter sizes supplied by McCulloch and offers a one size fits all.

For reference, this one is stamped "A"...

Thanks Mark. I forgot about the Cylinder type/letter. I'll give it a look today. Thanks for the information on LRB.

Jeff,I've got another tank (I think).I'll get at it soon.
I meant to tell you there is a guy on Grand Island that has a bunch of BP-1's running. I talked with him a couple times. Seems he's a silent collector. He said he bought a bunch of parts from Mark a few years back. I'm waiting to hear back about test diaphragm/fuel pump kits I made.

I think he used to participate here on AS, called himself the chainsaw whisperer if my CRS isn't too bad. (Can't Remember Stuff...)
IIRC,the chainsaw whisperer was more in the southern part of N.Y.closer to Pa.He was a member of HoH yrs.back & took it pretty hard when one of the main moderators died.I looked him up on FB & he was inactive there as well.

I let my buddy borrow my 650 & this is what happened to the bar.Has anyone ever seen this happen ?I believe it to be a Windsor bar,I'd have to look.
Yep, I got an old 3 rivet tip Oregon bar in a lot that had a seized tip, I beat it free with a hammer and cold chisel after soaking it in PB blaster. It survived several days on a mill in one batch, the next time I went to use it midway through a cut there was a loud "POP" and me and the customer on the helper handle danced away. After confirming we were both intact I looked and saw my nose sprocket was in 3 pieces.

I looked at the 86854 11 tooth sprocket kits that I have and they are all 6 rivet.

There is a 93667 kit with 4 rivets but I don't have any.

Between Chainsawr and eBay there do seem to be some 93667 replacement sprockets available but you have to consider the cost of the parts, your time, effort, and aggravation, and the overall condition of your bar before you decide to invest in repairs.

Just finished initial prototyping on the early McCulloch Flatback carb diaphragm and fuel control. The carbureter doner is getting his carb back with new kit materials for testing later this week. If it all goes well, I'll be adding it to my web store. Pics show card stock templates from the initial fit testing and then actual parts cut out.
