Now here's another example.Take it just as that .Back when we tinkered around running 2 cubers the Stihl 020T and 200T's always won against the others .The average cut time in 8" poplar cants was in the 15 second range for two cuts .Didn't make a difference ,020T or 200 T .Kevin (cut for fun) and myself did it in the 11's .I don't remember if his was an 020 or a 200 but he beat me by 1/4 th of a second and his was stock and mine was souped .That was before rapid super chain was on the market ,it was semi chisel .

I remembered this Eager Beaver 2.0 in the attic so I gave it a good going over after supper. I was surprised to find it did not have an automatic oil pump.









The only Mini Mac(s) with anti-vibe that I am aware of are the PM155/165 models unless you include the SP40/510/515

Mornin, I thought I did enough research last week when I bought a d176 tsumura bar. The adjuster holes aren't big enough and the oil passages are closed off in the adjuster slots. I was planning on drilling open the oil passages and grinding enough room for the adjuster to catch. Seems like it should work with some drilling/grinding but I was expecting a direct bolt on fit?

Never used a Japanese bar on a Mac. I use a cut off wheel in the bar slot to open it up for oiling on a Mac. Did that to fit a D007? To a large frame Mac. Kevin would know! @Gizzard

I have also used a cut off wheel in the Dremel to create the oiler opening. I was successful once in drilling two or three holes through the bottom of the groove into the adjuster hole to allow oil to pass but that was an 0.063" bar so a 1/16" drill bit would fit.

I would have thought a D176 should be correct, I have a few Japanese sourced bars on 10 Series & 600 Series saws and they were indeed direct bolt on.

The one D007 mount I used on a large frame Mac 250 worked fine as is for oil.

On the D176 munt on the 10 series Macs I have had a few bars that were finicky to get adjuster pawl to fall or go into adjuster slot when using a bar plate. On them I would flip the adjuster around or delete the bar plate.

Flippy caps make a 200T go faster.

As mentioned, flip the adjuster upside down and eliminate the bar plate (or enlarge the slot). That should solve the adjuster problem.

I was using the bar plate while eyeing it up, the dremel w/ cut off wheel crossed my mind as well. I bought the bar from performance outdoor equipment, the description said it fit the 10 series. So if it was you would you just open up the oil passages and not use a bar plate? I'll see about flipping the adjuster upside down to see if that will get it to catch the bar w/out grinding anything. Always somethin, just part of the game

If I paid good money for a bar that was supposed to fit a particular saw and it didn't, I would more than likely return it for one that did even though being perfectly capable of modifying it to fit.

May also want to check the gauge and pitch of that bar before doing any grinding just in case they're not what you ordered either.

With a little ingenuity and a lot of elbow grease you can adapt just about any bar to any saw with exceptions of course .I once had a 32" Oregon,Stihl mount on a 250 McCulloch and believe it or not the saw did pretty good with it .I have a 36" Stihl mount that fits a 125 McCulloch plus a 2100S Homelite .The 084 has an 066 mount 42" .404 that had the slot widened before I bought it .
Some McCulloch 10 series bars fit right up to Husqvarna and some don't .The p100 Partner and the McCullochPM 1000 is the same saw .If you use the McCulloch bar plates a Mac bar will work .If you use the plates from a 2100 Husky a Husky bar will wok.I have both . Just trivia ----

I picked up with Titan 7 in Baraboo a couple of weeks ago, I had some time today so I thought I'd give it a good going over.

I had to replace the o-ring in the oil pump, the grommets for the lower anti-vibe, and the intake boot.

After:




I will need to try and glue some of the decals back down as they are in pretty rough shape. It now runs nicely without the excessive smoke it was making when I got it.
