Anything exciting planned for the weekend.Sorry I don't know your Name :(

It's Dan.
I'm putting in a very large garden window where our new kitchen is going for the wife.

Morning gents...75 now heading to mid-90's today. Looks like yard work around here for half a day and get it knocked out. Got a 6lb Boston butt I think I'm gonna let roll low and slow for about 8 hrs in the background today. Enjoy your day fellas, stay cool, be safe.

Nice...the bay-style or garden-style windows make a kitchen or breakfast area look that much better. Have you already got it framed out for the window dimension?

Is this a new build, or existing and remodeling?

House is early 1700 era. The window and the kitchen is going in the addition built in the 60's. We are switching things around a bit. I framed it out yesterday. It's going to be nice. The old kitchen is small and cramped. I'll make it our laundry room when I finish the kitchen.

Gotcha. I spent many years, many years ago, framing houses (couple of older brothers were builders and developers) and of course you get into a ton of all facets of remodeling as well. To this day and it's been years since those days, Ive still got my compressors, hundreds of feet of air hose, three Paslode FrameMaster nail guns, trim guns, miter saws, extension ladders/step ladders, ladder jacks, walkboards, etc, etc, and enough cases of gun 16's and 8's to frame and dry in five houses.

Yeah I'm bored with that already... I don't do well with the same old thing. I started out as an electrician, moved on to framing/ reno's, now I do this.
