Yes we do. We've had enough but just barely. The veggie guys are irrigating. And I'm really considering building a couple ponds.

That's unfortunate. I don't hear of any cutterbar trouble from my friends with green ones. Its the rest of the machine that they have trouble with.

Been a battle for him. The dealership delivered the mower to him dry. They forgot to add lubricant during the delivery inspection. Luckily the sales person came out after delivery and gave it a once over and opened it up and noticed.

I don't know what to say about the poor fellow who was killed. I frequently drive tractors on the road and a dually with a goose neck almost daily and people are idiots. I have had quite a few people recently passing me on a double yellow while I am going the speed limit.

Last week I ended up behind a group of pre WW2 cars on a rally drive for quite a while. There were 3 ahead of me and I just laid back a good ways and enjoyed it. 2 were model t's and their top speed is 45 I know. But there was a pack of cars stacked up behind me with a prius rammed up my ass for 5 miles like I was the cause of all the worlds problems.

I love this place even more after spending a few days in North Carolina. We have a slower pace here.

But there was a pack of cars stacked up behind me with a prius rammed up my ass for 5 miles like I was the cause of all the worlds problems.

My wreck 1 1/2 years ago. The propane truck never saw me coming at the intersection and pulled through when I was about 75' away from him.

My 4 year old son was with me that day, all of us are fortunate to still be here.

We just got an inch last night heavy t storms rolled in. I did get some fertilize on that young orchard grass just ahead of it Got lucky there as I don't wanna rut it up any I have a beautiful patch of orchard grass that is rough as hell cause of that beats my ass and baler to death

I've got a place, about two acres, that was in row crops than never disced back out. Its got good grass on it, but hard to mow. This fall, I'll fix that.

Oh yea, he still remembers it and talks about it often.


I don't think he realizes what the outcome should have been, so it's not like he's been traumatized.
We did struggle with him sleeping for about two months afterwords though.

I'm glad he got over it well. I was in a bad crash at 16, with someone else driving. To this day, I will not ride with anyone.

A family friend this winter was out plowing snow on the highway in the middle of the night.
He was going 15-20mph because it was a white out, a semi rear ended him. He said that he was just going along and the next thing he knew, he was backwards looking at the semi trailer.
They both walked away but it could of been really bad fast.

I've got a place, about two acres, that was in row crops than never disced back out. Its got good grass on it, but hard to mow. This fall, I'll fix that.

I had a fella tell me you can go drop a disc easy in the fall to patch that sorta thing up and it won't ruin your stand. I've not tried it but it may be an option even if it took a couple fall to get it doable

How long did run it dry? Sounds like they should bring him a new mower.

It didn't, his niece was the sales person and knows their service dept. sucks. So she came out and double checked it before hay season. He bought it over the winter to get the best deal. But then again maybe they still missed filling everything.

Here too ,and the night before ,and the night before dot dot dot ,good timing on my part ,tilled and planted a section pasture when it was dry and got a week of rain ,little grasses growing right now ,came in quick ,i will send some rain your way though .

we got flooding here in wv not in my area though i feel sorry for the people who have been hit by it as i saw the effects of the flood in 1985
