Grandpa always said “it ain’t junk until you can see the air sticking out”.
I chickened out with the one I changed lol. Didn’t want to do it on the side of the road in the dark. Always seems to happen that way.
Glad things are turning out well & it does look dusty. Dad & my brother finished up a couple days ago, glad to be done with those filthy beans. The last two loads were 7.4% moisture.View attachment 438049

So driveshaft had rubbed a hole in the line that connects the two tanks on the truck. Crimped off with vice grips and got everything bled and got truck to field. Gotta pull line off but it’s below fuel level. Maybe pump some fuel out and see if I can get a new line made. No big deal just a painCurrently broke down on the road in tractor truck. No fuel in filter.
I hope you are not running bio diesel......Currently broke down on the road in tractor truck. No fuel in filter.
Hope it's a short pull from fields to storage area!Load 1 of 27ish. Away we go

Took a break from hauling bales to get some manure hauled and chiseled in. I’ve never worked ground this hard before. I had new points on and had to flip them by 2pm and they were absolutely shot by 8pm. Just over 90 acres done so around 6 acres per point. Good grief.

They lose enough thickness off and snap before they wear short enough to wear on the shank. I believe they’re 2x15” points and they’ll be around an inch below the shank when they break off after the second flip. So I try to flip them when there’s a little life left so they last for at least a little while on the flip side. You don’t wait for them to wear to the shank before you change them ? You aren’t getting your money’s worth out of them …
