Are those soft core?
IMG_6107.jpegThis is a pretty normal looking one. No telling what the cores will look like with this baler. It just wads it in till it begins tumbling. And honestly this is the first round baler I’ve ever owned. Neighbors all had this style too so I don’t know much else but it’s not considered soft core. Though the very beginning of the bale in my opinion is soft till it finally tumbles then it starts actually packing

I meant the hay looked real nice. I run a 488 haybine. Works for me
Thanks! It is the thickest I’ve ever cut. We had lots of rain in May, a good amount of heat, and I put a good dose of fertilizer on in April. Unfortunately the alfalfa all laid down, but the grass in some spots is was up to the top of the hood on my JD 6400.

Miss Avery and I got some hay raked today 😎

Also got the stuff around the chicken barn mowed off. Looks like a drier stretch coming up so we’re going to cut just about everything we can get to.

Been getting enough rain so we haven't cut anything yet. Getting internal bleed down on the lift cylinders for the cutter so was going to replace seals today. Dad picked up kits for the rake, not the cutter. Hopefully the local Vermeer dealer has them so I can get it fixed after I get off work tomorrow. I think we will be picking up a four basket tedder this year, just not sure what flavor. Need a tax deduction anyway.

Any of you gents with 6000/7000 series Deeres have these ridiculous elbow busting plastic manual cases on the left hand side of your cabs.

I took the one out of the 7810 that I plant & bale with but the other one still has one in it.

Kicked out another 152 bales after raking about 50 acres.

Chase got a new H&S rake, I will be surprised if it makes it thru the season without getting pretzeled.

I believe those are for 12 oz cans and ice. My neighbor has one just like it but it is red and white. The plastic case that is.
