Does the Indian Runner Duck eat read slugs?

_20230519_065722.png

But!!!
Careful with full grown mature slugs.
Aparently the Runner Duck being a food junkie will eat them but can choke if the slug is too big and gets stuck in the ducks thin throat.
General concensus is - cut big slugs in half before allowing Your Runner Ducks to eat them.

Couple of the old man’s chickens eat slugs. Doesn’t seem like they all like them 🤔.

Watched one gag a pretty big one down.

I just popped in to this thread and saw Mark's pics. Man o man! I'm glad you're healing up well. Keep up with that rehab!

On another note, the clay here is drying out, and the hay's growing well. I had a power shuttle failure on the Massey, and it's at a dealership in VT waiting on guidance from Agco. It's most likely a sensor issue, but I couldn't track down which one. Electronic stuff does not interest me, so therefore I get frustrated and bored with it quickly. I wasn't going to start throwing expensive parts at it, so I gave in. I need it soon to replant one 8-acre piece of field.

Did a test plot to see @JimBear I know this corn can handle high populations. Maybe 6-7 acres under irrigation. All the rest at 29,000

Moves the seed about exactly 1 inch closer together. Still no word on my magnum. Went back to my old school maps I used to draw to keep an eye on varieties and populations

I've been using the 2640 to clear blackberry briars and sumac trees. Pushed out several maples too. Got a couple or three acres back.
I did that last year with my old Mitsubishi excavator. It's amazing how rapidly they close in on the fields. Gotta dig and get those sumac root tentacles up and out.
