This picture is probably 32-33years old, I hope so because apparently I was still crapping my pants. Anyway… I wasn’t driving yet but this my was happy place back in the day. It was either a C or Super C, which were both sold at least 15 years ago. It’s cool that we just got a Model M, maybe if I find jhort overalls I’ll re shoot this picture

Guess I’ve gotta repack an irrigation pump. Couldn’t get it to prime this morning. Burnt up my primer pump. Took two made one good one. I’ve never done this but I’m feeling sorta confident. If I get it running I’ll shoot a picture

Frost dinged ours. Not done. Best we had was 57 bushel. 63 test weight somehow

We had hot temps earlier and stuff started heading out and not growing
Hopefully 2nd cutting is better or we’re going to be short on hay

Ive been clearing a patch to get a large garden in, been working it by hand for a year now. Used my truck to rip out old wire fencing taken over by honeysuckle, fence posts grown into them..ect... couldnt use a chainsaw so had to sawzall them at the ground or below if I could. Then a large patch of small cedars ( saving them for the raised beds boarders and fence posts ) out of about 20 trees I got 3 cedars and a massive Cherry to take down ( cherry will be saved for smoker wood ) I need to finish the chicken coop and get them moved ( selling the smaller one ) and get the fencing up for the garden. I got 3 weeks before I have surgery ( torn tendons in my left wrist ) so I will be in a cast for 2 months and who knows how long before I can use my hand again. Im pretty beat up from past injuries so getting harder on me and even harder to find good help, hopefully my tree guy shows up soon as I cant start the garden til they are gone.

Yup she’s a s1700 from the 80s. It’s got a short wheel base because it used to be a box truck. 18ft flatbed and short wheel base makes for a really handy truck, especially in between deadrows.

99.9 she’s an s1700. We’ve got 2. One with sides. The one painted there is the one we haul water to the sprayer or nitrogen chemicals whatever we need. Like em pretty well. The older one is still orange has the old 6.9 before they changed to a 7.3. 6.9 needs a new engine or rebuild. She burns oil. Like quart a day type burns oil. I run the crap out of it still. Actually haul firewood in it if I’m cutting at that scale
